These shutdowns take place twice a year for essential cleaning and maintenance, ensuring the facility continues to run efficiently. During the shutdown, the inside of the furnaces will be inspected and repaired, and parts of the boiler system will be replaced. The maintenance of each of our two furnaces will be staggered, so that we can continue to accept waste throughout the shutdown period.
